DEPD Lieutenant Shade Manx was abducted and was missing for several hours before a heroic raid led by her partner, Officer Phury Manx, freed her. The current state of the Lieutenant is unknown. Police expressed concern that it may have been a cult operating in the area that has been the subject of police scrutiny for some time. Captain Snow was reached by phone and had the following comments:

“While we are not certain that Mind9Light is responsible for this attack, we have reason to suspect that they may have had involvement in the kidnapping. Lieutenant Manx has been taken to a hospital for the duration of her recovery.”

The status of Lieutenant Manx is unknown, but it is believed that she is in stable condition. Her whereabouts were not released to the press, but she is reportedly recovering in a hospital outside of Dead End rather than DEMH. Why wouldn’t they employ the wonderful and capable staff of the DEMH in this recovery? Who knows. Phury Manx was unavailable for comment about the raid and details were not released regarding where Lt. Manx was found. We will bring you more as the story unfolds!
