Chief Dan Anderson

With rumors of our much loved Shade Manx stepping down from the position of Chief of Police due to ” Exhaustion”  our beloved city has hired a new face to help whip the DEPD into shape.

Chief Dan Anderson, a former military man who spouts phrases like ” Iron Fist of Justice” calls himself  ” fair, harsh and just.”  When asked his views on the crime in the city and his take on it our new chief was quick to reply

 “You want this town cleaned up?” he asked. “Ya gotta make a few waves in order to get the job done.. You see the last two Police Chiefs.. probably let little things slide while they were probably sittin on their asses doing jack.. diddling themselves..  I would make it very clear that I am making head way to clean these streets of DE up pronto.. You have to strike them hard and keep coming until there is no resistance.. Crime is crime… And crime doesn’t pay, Miss. Vaniva.. Justice will prevail..  I’m here to clean your town up. And in the process.. We all gotta get a little messy to do so.”

From all reports the new Chief of Police is rather serious when he claims to have no issues with “getting messy”.  In the month that the new chief has been in the county’s employment we have lost a dozen police cars, two officers have applied for early retirement after confrontations with the former military man and the number of on shift injuries has tripled as the war on crime’s casualties continue to increase.

Rumors confirmed by the new chief  further show his arrival has not been well received by some. In fact in the course of the interview Anderson admitted that his home had recently been blown up, and he was waging a war on the suspects as part of his attack on the criminals of Dead End.
