Cosmina Miklos, AKA The Coroner Killer

One half of a violent saga that has had our fair city on on edge has come to a close.  Cosmina Andreea Miklos, aka the Coroner Killer, was arrested late last night after a long chase through the city’s sewer system.  The frightening story began as Ms Miklos visited me at the Red Herring, brazenly identifying herself as the killer who’d been emailing me whilst also plunging a knife into my chest and injecting me with a knockout drug.  I was able to get a short cryptic text out to the police before the drug took effect, unaware my limp body was being dragged through the basement and into the sewers.

and pursued Ms. Miklos as she dragged my body through the unpleasant filth until eventually deciding to leave me  behind and make a run for it.  She soon found herself cornered and a fight ensued with the officers but through the use of bean bag shotguns and tasers, they were able to subdue the violent criminal and take her into custody.  Ms. Miklos will be remanded to Harvey Federal Institution awaiting trial and psychological evaluation.  Lt. Beorn was treated for some injuries obtained through the scuffle and later released.  I woke to find a line of stitches closing the wound on my chest and also sent home.

DNA samples from Ms. Miklos were being compared against those found at various crime scenes attributed to the Coroner Killer.  All signs point to her being at least one half of a sadistic team of killers.  The tall male with a mohawk, as described in eye witness accounts, was not present for this attack and, as of this printing, remains at large.  One half of the saga has come to a close, the other half continues.  Let us hope he is quickly brought to justice just as like his partner.
