Woman In Bloodied Straight Jacket Delivers Chilling Note

New RH Exterior

In the late hours of July 21st, a half naked woman staggered into the popular coffee house and bakery, the Red Herring.  She was covered in blood and clad only in underwear and a straight jacket while pleading for help to anyone that would listen.  Red Herring employees along with a nurse who, as luck would have it, happened to be in the shop ordering cupcakes, attending to the woman and were surprised to find a note tucked into her restraints.  The note appeared to have been written by the woman’s attacker who boasted having committed over 20 rapes while taunting the female members of the DEPD and the city as a whole.  Whether there is any truth behind these claims is, as of yet, unknown, as is the identity of the alleged rapist.  A spokesperson for the DEPD said they are examining the note but cannot comment on the status of their investigation at this time.  Anyone with any information regarding this situation should contact the Daily or the DEPD immediately.  In the mean time, please exercise caution when wandering the streets of Dead End so you too do not befall the same fate as the woman in the straight jacket.
