Horror Movie to Be Shot In Dead End Offers Financial Reprieve

clapperboardAfter weeks and weeks of nothing but bad and then worse news to report, this reporter is happy to declare that help has come to Dead End!  With every home and every business feeling the financial crunch there was little hope in sight until spring thaw. That is until now!  Panda House Productions, a film making company from L.A. is going to be shooting a horror movie in Dead End!

I can see you skeptics already furrowing your brows and wondering how, why and when. Unfurrow, for this is sincerely a good thing.  Already the preemptive crew has arrived in town and has been in contact with the city council to rent several unused buildings for both movie scenery as well as rehearsal space, several rooms at the hotel have been rented and by weeks end both Dick’s Halfway Inn, as well as the Pink Motel In Dead Drop should be filled to capacity.  Shops will soon see crew men and women popping in for beers at the bar, food and supplies from the Icky Quickie.  Every business in town stands to benefit from this movie at a time when Dead End is at it’s darkest.

Not enough for you? Still skeptical? Perhaps this last bit of news will help out.  Within the next few days, week tops Panda House Productions will be holding an open casting call for extras as well as a few small speaking parts and all are invited to come.  That’s right Dead Enders, work for the temporarily laid off and the unemployed.  So whether you own a business and are struggling, need a job and don’t mind hanging out in the cold dressed as a thug, Panda Productions and it’s horror film ” The Toxin” could be just the thing to tide us over until spring.  My advice Dead Enders is to embrace it. Stock up your shelves, clean up those motel rooms, get ready to plan some parties cause Company’s Coming!
