Vance Clayton, A Dead End Daily Reporter was working on a story last night when an masked and purple haired woman burst into the office and attacked him from behind.  Wordlessly the purple haired wretch wielding a knife stabbed  Mr. Clayton several times within sight of the CCTV cameras.  Though taken by surprise the reporter was not completely unprepared and did manage to fend the woman off by using his stun gun on her.

Victim of cowardly purple haired knife weilding attacker, Vance Clayton was stabbed several times.

When the lunatic finally did speak it was only to threaten Mr. Clayton stating that if he reported on his attack or spoke of it to anyone the attacks would continue.  Injured, but unwilling to give up, the brave reporter faught back. Grabbing the attacker by the throat Vance shouted back at her that there wouldn’t be anything to report if she’d leave him alone.  Well Put Mr. Clayton, Well Put.  The crazed knife wielding woman further indicated she had been sent by the local cult ” Adherents of Belial” and was one of the lunatic members sent by Dion & Alice Lambert.

To further emphasize her commitment to the group of lunatics lead by Lambert, on her way out , the purple haired maniac woman used a can of spray paint to leave the ” Mark of Belial ” on one of the daily office’s many windows.  Of course that was only after destroying a couple of laptops and the CCTV camera.  The last bit of ” wisdom” was some nonsense about  how ‘Sedit sends her regards” though no one had ever heard of a Sedit. As his attacker fled the office Mr. Clayton managed to dial 911 and shortly thereafter received help.

In light of the recent attacks on the Daily, and in an attempt to ensure the safety of both employees and those submitting stories, the Editor has announced that she will be hiring security to monitor the offices throughout the evenings until this crazed cult has been contained.  Mr. Clayton, whom despite his injuries was released after receiving countless stitches, has vowed to continue with his duties at the DE Daily.

In addition to the hiring of a security guard, the DE Daily offices are offering a bounty of $10,000 cash for the capture of this masked assailant.  We at the DE Daily would like to see her brought to justice , however is on her trip there she managed to suffer a few of the injuries Mr. Clayton was inflicted with well it wouldn’t be seen as a tragedy.
