The Jade Dragon, home of burly security guards, saki and sushi rolls has a change in leadership.  For the past several months, Dion Lambert, alleged leader of the cult Adherents of Belial, was at the helm serving up tempura and other tasty treats to locals but he has decided to focus his time and energy on some other opportunities in the business world and has left the Jade in the capable hands of Raven Panther, who appears to have been serving as his right hand at the sushi bar.  As someone who worked her way up through the ranks, Raven has become rather attached to the restaurant and hopes to make several cosmetic and menu changes.

” As you could see, this place is in a bit if disrepair. I, for one would love to clean some things up, maybe add a little more flavor of the orient to it’s decor, and well, we have been really pushing the Sushi here.  In addition, I think people will see more Cantonese style dishes returning to the forefront as well. Not to mention having to hire myself a trustworthy staff.”

There had been rumors of issues with some previous staffers, as Raven noted, “lacking in moral fiber”, so if you have such fiber, do seek her out for employment.  Waitresses, cooks, and security are all positions to be considered.  Throughout the interview, Raven was as courteous as she was well dressed.  Despite her mention of the place being in disrepair, the stovetop grill appeared to be working fine and the wait staff was more than eager to fill an order as quickly as possible.

Raven made mention that “we do offer specials that will be for those with special tastes” which could be interpreted many ways.  Perhaps you’re a brave soul willing to take a chance on the potentially lethal blowfish dish that if not prepared a specific way could be fatal for the one who eats it.  Or perhaps you’ve come to the Jade to partake in the special “treats” that are rumored to reside in the room above the Jade.  Whichever it is, be sure to find Raven at the Jade Dragon.
