Just slightly over a year ago Dead End was in a different place.  With the meteor looming over us and threatening to end life as we knew it and everyone we’d ever loved or hated or even met Dead End did not as many predicated fall to rack and ruin.  No instead or looting and riots, fires and survivalists clamoring for every last morsel they could scavenge Dead Enders embraced each other.  The city came together. When buildings were closed down neighbors loaned spaced. When the water was shut off the Icky Quickie offered it up free of charge until FEMA and the Red Cross could get in. If you were hungry you were fed. If you needed blankets someone managed to scrounge up an extra.

How is it that in just a year we’ve come to a place where neighbors are once again attacking each other. The police strike simply to show the city just how needed they are and the Fire Department goes wild and turns it’s hoses on not only it’s fellow man, but on people they work beside every day.  Whats happened to us Dead End?  Where are the people that said such sweet kind and loving things to those that meant so much? How do we get back that loving feeling? Will it really take another earth shattering event to remind Dead Enders what they mean to each other? How simple it is to put down the weapons and lift up our hearts?  This reporter hopes that all of you will take time out of your days to tell those people that you love how you feel. That you’ll spend a few minutes being kind to someone that needs it and most important that you all let go of those hates that only harden your heart and try to forgive.  We can be a better place Dead End.
