Kink Ink Gets New Owner
I’m sure we’ve all passed by the little tattoo parlor just as you enter the Red Light District and thought ” I wonder who runs that place” or ” I wonder if the work is any good”. Well the answers to both of those questions have changed recently. At the start of the month Madison Raiyne, former Irezumi Ink tattooist, and one time bartender at the Easy 8’s Poolhall pulled together her life’s savings and a little bit of inheritance money and bought the place.
According to Ms. Raiyne the place was a pit when she first saw it, and more than 90% of the shops equipment had been stolen or vandalized but with time, a lot of bleach and some TLC Madi has turned the little tattoo shop on the wrong side of the tracks into something to be proud of. Of course while the shop is sparkling, and the new chairs are waiting to be filled, so too is the roster. Ms. Raiyne is looking to hire several artists in both tattooing and piercing as well as a receptionist.
While talking to the shop’s new owner Ms. Raiyne didn’t hesitate to mention that she was well into the planning phase of several upcoming events and was working with several local businesses. The Grand Re-Opening of course to be the first of many. Scheduled for June 27th and meant to welcome the warm summer weather Ms. Raiyne invites any and all to pop in for free food, booze and fun supplied by Slim Goodies Diner and Easy 8’s Poolhall. Madi also noted that anyone brave enough to show up in beach attire would get some valuable offers on future body mods up to and including 70% off coupons.
So if you’re looking to have some old ink covered up, scar hidden inside something beautiful, both of which the new owner says are her specialties, stop on down at Kink Ink and ask for Madi. And wear as little as you dare, you’re likely to get a really good discount!
