Killer Dubs Himself Artist, Promises More to Come.

Recently a story entitled ” Terror in the Tunnels, A New Killer Stalks Dead End” was run earlier this week sharing the horrors that had been found and the victims that the atrocities had been heaped upon. The killer, apparently an avid Daily reader, read the story and felt the need to write in. Below his his letter, word for word:

Dear citizens of Dead End,

It’s come to my attention that Dead End could use an introduction to fine art. I’ve been working in solitude for a long long time now. I feel it”s time to share my vision with an audience. My work will likely be met with mixed reviews , however , I expect there are a few out there who will appreciate and understand the message that I wish to convey. Miss Piper was just the beginning. There will be many more to come.

Yours Truly,
Opus

It is clear ” Opus”,as he calls himself,  has plans to commit more murders to create more of his so called art.  ” Art” that comes from destroying the bodies of countless lovely young women whom are guilty simply of being solitary, or nearly that, in our fair city.  I’m sure you know someone like his previous victims. We all do.  Quiet women who seem to pass through life unnoticed. The neighbor that you never see or hear unless she happens to be leaving for work when you do.  The girl at work who never hangs out with everyone because she’s gotta get home and feed her cat. Sweet, innocent, quiet and unassuming.  Someones little sister, daughter, cousin. The attractive girl next door that doesn’t know she’s attractive. These women are upon whom he preys and its up to us, Dead Enders, to stop him.  Take the time to reach out to those neighbors, shy strangers, coworkers and let them know they aren’t alone. They have a friend, they’re not invisible.  That YOU would notice if they went missing and perhaps we can keep him from finding that new victim before he begins the latest edition of creepy Kali renditions in some underused part of our fair city.

This is our city Dead Enders, our neighbors, shops and streets. Our homes and alleys and yes even our shitty falling down slums. Don’t let some twisted killer take them from us.  Step up, stand up. Make certain he knows we’re watching, and we’re not going to stand for any more of his shit.
