Some of you might wonder how, in Michigan we have a working casino that’s not on Indian land and not subject to immediate shut down by state authorities.  The truth of that legal loophole has never been revealed but it’s one we in DE have cared to discover.  After all, who doesn’t like a good game of poker or dropping a few dollars worth of quarters in the slot machines?  Especially some brand new ones.  The Hedonist Casino has undergone some changes in a few ways recently.  There were some cosmetic changes in the wake of the joy riding Titi who caused plenty of damage to the casino with her motorcycle just a week ago.  New slot machines, roulette table as well as security cameras in the main bar and pit area as well as the downstairs basement have been added.  These alterations were spearheaded by new owner and operator Leslie Byrne.

After a promising early modeling career ended up in shambles, Ms. Byrne found herself, homeless and hungry when she first walked into the Hedonsit.  In the casino, she found a home and new life.  She was so grateful that she decided to devote herself entirely to her new job and boss Anjel Masala, eventually working her way to manager. Conveniently  Mr. Masala disappeared under extremely suspicious circumstances  and the business went up for sale, despite questions to the legality of the sale and Ms. Byrne’s involvement in Mr. Masala’s disappearance.   A settlement from a lawsuit filed in regards to the tragic end of her old modeling career enabled the manager to purchase the “abandoned ” casino and make some much needed improvements.

One of the things that will not change is the “Leather, lace, and Lingerie Night  will continue as it has since before I came to work here last February, with Two-for-One call drinks” Ms. Bryne said.  The long term success of that event has prompted Ms. Byrne to look into various other promotions, some of which do not yet have enough details to share.  However, we do know there will be the occasional “20% discount on gaming chips and the 2-for-1 drink special.”  Perhaps, at some point, we might see some specials on pole dances in the upstairs area or free buy ins for craps.  As soon as we hear something, we’ll let you know.  In the meantime, be sure to try your luck turning your $20 into $1,000 at the various tables in the Hedonist Casino, just make sure you don’t run afoul of it’s new owner or you could go ” missing” too.
