Motel Molester Strikes Again !
Earlier in the week the daily reported on an unidentified man wearing a dark suit that assaulted one young woman while holding another captive at the ” Dick’s Halfway Inn”. Last night that man attacked again, and this time the victim got a better look at him. According to police reports this unidentified attacker is a Tan male, around 6’6 to 6’8. The man has brown hair and carries an attache case with handcuffs and other paraphernalia inside.
” When we’re wrong.. we say we’re wrong. It doesn’t happen often but this time, we were and our sincerest apologies go out to that law clerk who was wrongly implicated in a similar story. ” Kahlen Vaniva DE Daily Editor
His latest victim was found after having been handcuffed to a bed in the Pink Motel in Dead Drop on the outskirts of Dead End. How the attacker lures the young women into the motels or whether he drugs them is uncertain as his latest victim was loathe to give much information to the police. What she did share was that she had been attacked by the man at least one other time , previously in her own home but she had not reported that attack. Police officers escorted the anonymous young woman to DEMH to be checked out and evidence collected.
Upon speaking with Lt. Vanora Blackheart about the attacker and his previous attacks it was made quite clear that the implication that the attacker may possibly work in the legal offices or bear some resemblance to a law clerk or legal secretary was purely a mistake on the DE Daily’s part. Furthermore this reporter would like to go on record and apologize for any pain or hardship that may have been brought to the gentleman by the unfortunate misunderstand. An innocent man’s reputation should not be tarnished for the unspeakable acts of another.
Due to the complete anonymity of this latest attacker, his lack of distinguishing characteristics and ability to avoid security cameras the DEPD and DE Daily ask the women of Dead End to avoid dark alleys, walk in twos and threes and if you feel like you’re being followed or something doesn’t feel right please head for a public area and call 911. Be safe out there Dead End.
