Easy 8’s Has Four Days Of Hell! Owner Says No More!

8s

The Easy 8 poolhall has the look and feel of a laid back hangout spot.  You got pool tables, good conversation, friendly staff and an abundance of alcohol to choose from.  In fact, many do choose to hang out there and make it into their own personal Cheers.  However, that positive energy became a beacon for some of the town’s ruffians.  Over the course of four consecutive days, police were asked to come sort out one issue or another.  One of them was reported here, but until the CCTV footage from the bar was handed over to the Daily, we were unaware of the other three incidents.

One involved a shirtless man who refused to heed requests to vacate the premises and proceeded to destroy part of the bar-top before being placed under arrest.  However, charges were not pressed.  Another had to do with a naked girl being shoved into the bar with the letters “B” and “J” being carved into her.  The man who  had shoved her departed quickly with security personnel in hot pursuit.

A witness to that event, a woman known only as Kodi, then returned the following night threatening to shove pool cues into people if they didn’t tell her who was the man responsible for carving up the naked girl.  Kodi showed signs of mental instability as she tried stabbing the thin air with her pool cue and screamed about Trey being hauled away who was, in fact, fine.

In each case, police were called into the bar to either investigate the scene, as with the naked and carved girl or, in the case of Ms. Kodi to tazer the woman and haul her off to the DEPD jail cells where a psych eval will determine if she is sent to the asylum.  Four nights in a row of criminal mischief and police presence has the owner, Lucas Bayne on edge feeling his once laid back bar was now a a hotspot for trouble and mischief.  To help encourage a peaceful entry into his bar, he is offering a free shot to anyone who manages not to stir up trouble and get the DEPD running back over with tazer’s at the ready.  The shot is redeemable once you declare your intentions to vacate.. without cuffs on your wrists, of course.
