Dion & Alice Lambert, having attacked Dr. Fitzgerald and killed a visitor now threaten the life of an asylum guard.

If you’ve lived in Dead End for any amount of time you know that the Dead End Asylum has been a hot spot for misconduct, medical malpractice and blatant abuse. So much so that for over a year the Asylum was shut down and forced to undergo extensive remodeling, restructuring and the staff retooled.  Apparently in light of recent events, it was not enough.  According to CCTV footage and witness statements corruption still runs rampant in the local asylum, and it’s cost two men their lives.

Dr. Roison Fitzgerald was admitted to DEMH on Tuesday after being attacked in the Asylum by patent Dion Lambert. Lambert, a known cannibal,  cultist, murderer and rapist , has along with his wife/adopted daughter been an asylum patient for over a week now.  According to CCTV footage and witness reports Dr. Fitzgerald was seen having a heated discussion with intern Al Manx before entering Mr. Lambert’s padded cell.  According to police reports Manx shouted something inflammatory to Lambert causing the man to attack Dr. Fitzgerald.  Manx then entered the cell and allegedly both released Lambert from his straight jacket and gave the violent felon and inmate a knife before locking him and Dr. Fitzgerald in Lambert’s padded cell.

Allowed a meat cleaver carrying visitor, Alice Lambert managed to use the cleaver on her guest, commiting yet another murder. How many will it take before DEPD Officers stop coddling and cuddling the deranged woman?

For nearly two hours Lambert was left alone with the doctor and a knife before Dr. Manx’s fiance and asylum guard ” Mal” bothered to check in.  In  that time the doctor was beaten, stabbed, sliced, her flesh devoured and brutally raped.  On CCTV footage ” Mal ” is seen having a discussion with Lambert before slowly dragging Dr. Fitzgerald from the padded cell and off to the elevator by a single arm as if the unconscious, naked and bleeding woman is no more than a sack of laundry.  Between the elevator ride to the hospital and turning Dr. Fitzgerald over to the medical staff for treatment Mal is seen kicking or nuding the incapacitated and severely traumatized woman several times before eventually handing her over for medical care.  During this time the door to Mr. Lambert’s padded cell is left open for the inmate to wander the asylum in search of an escape  wearing Dr. Fitzgerald’s labcoat, ID, and keys while armed with a knife.

Throughout the night Lambert was free to roam the hospital with neither Dr. Manx nor Asylum guard ” Mal” raising the alarm that the violent & Cannibalistic killer was on the loose.  According to police reports Lambert hid in the heating/ air con ducts, sleeping there for better than twelve hours  before a ruckus created by his wife, Alice Lambert, alerted Mr. Lambert to her whereabouts.  Guards escorting a bloody Alice Lambert from her cell after the woman managed to murder a visitor whom was allowed to enter the asylum carrying a meat cleaver.  Desperate to be reunited with his wife, Dion Lambert dropped out of the ventilation system armed with the knife and took a guard hostage, along with Mrs. Lambert.

One Asylum guard was killed, Officer Oakleaf stabbed but eventually the Lamberts were returned to their cells. Further charges are pending, and the Asylum is under investigation.

In the end several Asylum guards managed to call 911, leading the DEPD to believe the asylum inmates were rioting and the police converged upon the hospital in full force.  Upon arrival police found the Lamberts holding a guard hostage and attempted to negotiate with the twisted pair, to no avail.  In the end Dion Lambert managed to murder one guard, injure Detective Kerri Oakleaf and two other Asylum staffers before both he and Alice Lambert were returned to padded cells.  Further charges for both Lamberts are pending, and this reporter can only assume that both Al Manx and her fiance “Mal” will also be facing charges and unemployed for their actions.  The asylum, after such horrific traumas is under review and members of the board say that “stricter visitor screening, and more in depth background checks will be run on all asylum staff, as well as amendments to several procedures and practices  to keep both the patent and staff as safe and secure as possible. ” With events like this taking place in the asylum, this reporter can’t help but wonder how long it will be until the place is shut down once again, this time for good.
