Officer Commits Suicide Over Missing Lover

Officer Justine Alestei commited suicide Sunday over missing lover.

On Sunday evening several residents called 911 reporting sightings of a ” Crazy drunk woman” who was harassing passers by shouting, swearing and asking if they’d seen her girlfriend, Missing officer Cleo Mavendorf.  Officers were immediately dispatched on the scene only to find that the drunk young woman was one of their own.  Following carefully and trying desperately to  disarm Officer Justine Alestei police ended up in a stand off atop the Dead End dam near the water treatment plant.

The distraught officer spent several minutes wailing and bemoaning the loss of her loved one, the lack of faith in the Dead End Police Department as a whole and that she would never get her girlfriend back.  Citing ” Bad Luck” and “Being a Jinx” with Officer Mavendorf having been the second of Officer Alestei’s girlfriends to go ” missing “. The very drunk officer announced she ” Loved Cleo.. but it’s better this way ” and then stepped over the ledge and plummeted to her death while several of her coworkers watched.

The officer’s suicide coupled with the history of missing lovers leaves some to wonder if perhaps Officer Alestei had something to do with both women’s disappearances.  Detectives covering the case were outraged at the thought and stated. ” She was a distraught woman, very much in love and if she’d not been drinking to ease her pain she’d still be out there hunting for Cleo. ”
