Dead End Obituaries

Emilio Nuenez age 58 died at DEMH of an acute myocardial infarction on Thursday, September 18. Mr. Nuenez, a retired truck driver from Bane International Shipping and Handling, died peacefully in his sleep while at home. Mr. Nuenez is survived by his wife, Gloria, and their three children. Private funeral services were held at Wolfbane and Thistlewood Funerals, Saturday, September 20th.
Bill “Mr. Softee” Hill, age 83 died of acute trauma, status post motor vehicle accident, during the morning of Friday, September 19. Owner and sole proprietor of DE’s very own Mister Softee Ice cream Truck, Mr. Hill was known and beloved by ice cream fans through out the hot summer months. His only son, preceded him in death, in an unfortunate motorcycle accident. His former wife, Wilma Hill, although unavailable for comment, has filed a motion to assume ownership of the Mister Softee legacy. Funeral arrangements have not been announced at this time.
Doloris Filbert age 45 died of unknown causes in her home on Saturday, September 20th. A former lounge singer in Vegas, Ms. Filbert retired to the city of Dead End to care for her mother, who preceded her in death earlier this year. Her autopsy/investigation and funeral arrangements are pending. Ms. Filbert is survived by her sister, Harriet, a clerical worker in the DE Power Plant.
