Pink Bunny Kidnaps Spunks Employee
We were once told by new Spunks owner James O’Graydy that the Red Light District is safer now then it ever had been. That the dangers that lurked in times past were swept away after the death of the clown. However, if anyone has been paying attention, particularly to the articleswe’ve written as you should be, you’d know that it’s simply not true. If anything, the danger has seemingly gone up in recent months. From robberies to violent attacks and now a brazen kidnapping.
” Once again it just goes to show, Mr. O’Graydy, despite his claims to the contrary can’t manage to keep his employees or customers safe. The Red Light District is only growing worse and worse. It’s time the police did something about that blight on the community.” Kahlen Vaniva, angry mother & editor.
Sunday evening, prior to the one woman barbecue out front of the Daily, police were dispatched by a 911 call to Spunks R Us, the most recent danger haven. Upon entering, Detective Thorton immediately noticed signs of a struggle, including a broken front counter and plenty of blood. Presumably, the blood belonged to the now missing CJ Vaniva, Spunks clerk and adopted daughter to Daily Editor Kahlen Vaniva. A quick review of the CCTV footage showed a man in a pink bunny suit and a woman in a biking helmet abducting the young woman. Her distraught boyfriend, Shayden, wisely pointed to an article of ours wherein the pink bunny man, previously identified only as Simon, was involved in an altercation with another woman for supposed bunny supremacy. However, no one seemed to know the name of the female involved or where they might’ve taken Ms. Vaniva to, or even why.
A short time later, Detective Thorton was dispatched by another 911 call, this time to the beach where she discovered the bound and gagged but very much alive CJ Vaniva. The poor girl had been left in a bunny suit, tied to a chair with a knife stuck in the shoulder of her unconscious self. NPC EMT’s were immediately called to the scene to tend to the battered woman and transport her to the DEMH where it was later discovered she had also been the victim of sexual assault. Currently, police are checking the recovered items for fingerprints or really anything that would help them better identify and locate the pair of attackers. Anyone with any useful information that can lead to the discovery and capture of the assailants should contact the DE Daily or DEPD immediately. A substantial reward is being offered to any whom can offer information that will assist in the capture and eventual arrest of the pink bunny known as ” Simon”.
