Cinema Square, the area of attack, at Halloween

On the afternoon of Tuesday, January 13, police reports state that a vicious attack was carried out on Dead End resident Molly Tiegen just a little ways off from Cinema Square in the heart of the city, a common thoroughfare for innocent citizens and criminals alike. The attackers, who have been named as Devon Morello, Rin Krutskovec and Jude Hale.

While investigating an unrelated case, Sergeant Tarra Thorton and Officer Mitt came upon Ms. Tiegen being brutally beaten with modified baseball bat, apparently outfitted with nails on the tip and her skin marred with a switchblade. Police intervened and one suspect fled, though it is now believed that he was making an attempted to help the woman.

According to reports, the trio did not back down without a fight, attacking the police vehemently, which prompted Sergeant Thorton to call for back up, to which several officers responded. Officers Jack Jameston and Lucia Calderon joined the fray, attempting to subdue the suspects. Suspect, Rin Krutskovec reportedly fled, but was subdued by officers, who also retrieved his weapon.

All three suspects were apprehended and taken in to custody, along with all weapons and DNA evidence, which is currently being inspected by the CSU.

Currently, Devon Morello and Rin Krutskovec are out on bail awaiting trial, and Jude Hale has served her three day sentence. Ms. Teigan has been treated for her injuries and has been released from the hospital.
