On January 29th, at approximately 12:30 am, there were reports called into 911 of an attempted arson at Lulu’s set by an unknown female suspect. The witnesses that were there, reported that a woman dressed in a clown-like costume like dress and had clown-like makeup on her face, had thrown several bottles of what appeared to be Molotov cocktails onto the roof of Lulu’s.

There were several witnesses were involved, including DEPD Officer Jack Jameston, both in and outside the establishment and it appears there were no injuries or deaths that occurred during the incident.

DEPD and DEFD both report that the suspect did escape on foot and that it is unknown who she is and where her present location is at this time. There was extensive damage to the roof of Lulu’s.

No witnesses were able to provide any additional statements at this time and DEPD is searching for any witnesses that may have observed the direction of the woman as she was running away from the scene and for any additional knowledge of the incident or suspect or suspects at this time.
