On February 3^rd, one of The Daily’s staff writers wrote an article regarding an incident they were involved in regarding a woman left beaten and bloody on the doorstep of the Dead End Fire Department.

This article quickly changed from a factual narrative of events to an opinion piece, citing several names and various nefarious groups within our fair city being involved in a number of incidents, including a fire at the apartment buildings on Key Road, across from Slim Goodie’s Diner.

While it was initially believed that the words written in the article were based in fact, it was later learned that the statement that one Luna Anne Belle, whom the author implicated involvement was actually incarcerated at the time of the incident she was claimed to have been involved in.

The Dead End Daily wishes to extend its apologies to Ms. Belle, and any others who may have been wrongly accused in the article.
