Friday evening, Slim Goodies’ Diner in dead drop was dealt an unfortunate blow when the current management was evicted due to lack of lease payment.

At approximately 7 o’clock, Officer Tarra Thorton entered the Dead End staple to serve owner Madison Montana with the eviction notice and ordering her to gather her personal belongings and vacate the premises immediately.

Ms. Montana, who has run the diner for 18 months currently owes the buildings’ owner approximately $5,000. Sources state that diner owner has a gambling problem and often takes a days earnings to the Hedonist Casino, only to lose every penny in the slot machines. She had even, at one point during her eviction stated that she had found a way to beat the machine and would be able to afford to pay back rent by the morning.

Despite a number of stalling tactics including attempted bribery, Officer Thorton found herself needing to resort to force to physically remove Ms. Montana from the premise. The woman was tazed and then dragged from the building. The now former owner was so desperate to stay that she clawed at the linoleum floor, leaving score marks in her wake. When she finally recovered from the electricity coursing through her body she was outside and sent on her way. Instead of moving along calmly however she runs at top speed and screaming incoherently. It is this reporter’s opinion that Ms. Madison Montana is not fit to be in civilized public, let alone running a business. The display just a few nights ago is more than enough proof of that.

Now, after a year and a half of steady business, Slim Goodies’ Diner will be boarded up and sold. Let’s hope that whoever takes it no next will at least have a small amount of talent.
