Letter to the Editor: Vice & Belial.

Dear Citizens of Dead End;

As this paper had  reported, with  an accuracy I am truthfully accustomed to, I had intended to hold a sermon in the name of Belial in the 14th of this month.  The intent of the sermon I had wrote for that even was far from the one I had intended to deliver.  I write this letter to you all to both address some of the assertions and accusations about myself and my Church, as well as to deliver the message I had intended for that night.

It is true that the claims levelled at me and my followers have been in the air and in print for sometime. I can not speak for the conduct of everyone in my church, but I can say that to the fullest of my knowledge there is no validity to any of their claims.  There was an editor of this paper in the past that seamed to take it as her personal quest to smear me and my families name at every turn.  Filling the discourse of the city at every opportunity.  To be clear these efforts of slander had even in the past swayed past captains of our police department as well.  Leading to several arrests.  None of these arrests have ever led to any charges against myself.  So clearly these to parties, in their past actions, have been unable to slip their lies and assertions past the staunch and steady eye of our local District Attorney office.  Quite possibly the last line against the corruption that has permeated most of the other establishments in our city.   In regards to the recent car bombings that had been levelled and directed at me.  If our police department believes I am worth speaking to on this matter, I welcome them to contact me and I will gladly come in and answer any questions they have for me.

The message I had intended to deliver I hope will not be stained by these erroneous claims and attacks to my character.  The House of the Eternal Flame, my church, believes that we all are called to serve.  Some to the heads of the household that they belong to, the ones that lead the household to the House it self.  For us all, to our God, or church, and to our city.  There is no shame in service to something or some one greater then you.  In truth it is an honor to severe a worthy Master, or Mistress.  As I lead my church, the House of the Eternal Flame; and my House and family.  That leaves me with two Masters., my God and my City.  I serve my God, and my own flock, by spreading the word of Belial and strengthening his followers faith in him.

In regards to my City.  I do not believe I have done enough.  I founded a homeless shelter, The Flame of Truth, and own a media production house B&D Productions.  I employ those that I can and tithe what I can to my church and the shelter to assist those that are in need of help back on their feet.  I write this to say I don’t know if that is enough anymore.  When I look at the denizens of this city, the population I see are mostly disenfranchised in some way.  Illegal sex workers, drug users, and many more that find themselves outside of the law because of a choice that they have made.  I find this disheartening.  I believe that like many other places in this nation we the people of Dead End should take a stand, and demand that our governing bodies repeat the prohibitions that force its citizens into a life of crime.  Repeal the puritanical laws that inhibit us from following what our Will wants of us.  As long as everyone involved is a consenting adult, with no force or coercion used, they should be free to make these choices.

It is a simple message, and if such hate filled words where not thrown at me that night, one I would have very much liked to have given that night.  In regards to Mr Jones.  Sir I would like to continue our discussion sometime.  One that is not so intrusive on another’s right to speak.  I will not be as rude as you had and go to your house of worship to pursue this discussion, and I ask that when we next speak that you do not bring it back into my place of worship.  I shall respect your liberty to have your faith, despite how wrong I believe it to be, I ask you to do the same for me.
