Letter to the Editor: From Opus to the DEPD

After reading about the elevation of my status to the DEPD’s most wanted list, i find that I’m left with a bitter taste in my mouth. It’s not because the pd is upping its efforts to find me, I’ve always found the bumbling of hapless fools to be a wealth of entertainment. The point i take issue with is the sum that has been offered for information that will lead to my arrest.

The offer of five hundred dollars is insulting on many fronts. It broadcasts loud and clear how much the pd values its citizens. Their safety is weighed along side the cost of a parking violation. A borderline mentally handicapped meth addict in the deepest pit of withdraws has more common sense than to take you up on this offer. The reward demonstrates that the DEPD only wishes to pay lip service to the pursuit of my demise.

In light of all this I’ve decided to propose a counter offer.I’m embarking on a new project that involves filling Dead End’s streets with my darkest imaginings. This will continue until the reward offered pushes beyond one hundred thousand dollars. My video project will of course continue to run in parallel of the new one.
